Slowly I am improving! The immediate are helping me because it its assisting in acknowledging my own work. Though I still lose momentum when it comes to assignments (since I do wait until the last minute to complete them), it has become increasingly less stressful since I tend to get a head start on them now (rather than starting and completing them on the same day, hours before it's to be turned in). In any case, the modification isn't working to the degree that I had hoped, but at least I am moving along.

Maybe instead of awarding yourself points for finishing them anytime beforehand. You should set a schedule. Like do certain things on one day. If you get through one, you get one point. If you don't, you lose a point. Right now it seems that you do your homework whenever you feel like. It would be better for you have a set schedule of what you need to do.

Hey Jade, sounds like you are doing pretty good, except for the negative 2's you earn soemtimes.

Although it might be too late, I agree with Anthony. Having a set schedule makes it easier to follow and maybe you won't lose as many points. Keep it up!

Good work so far! This is great that you're able to organize all your thoughts together. This will come in handy in the future when your work calls for some project planning too :) So you'll be able to apply this to your future too!

It is really hard to keep everything on track. i have that problem too. when i want to do work i usually finish things way too earily. for example, i finished my biology discussion posting for the whole semester last week. it is like a few weeks ahead that the schedule. i did it because i felt i want to do it. but sometimes i don't do anything in the weekends, then i had to do my homework the night before the due date or study for the quizzes the night before, or sometimes even a few hours before. it is good that you are successful on your behavior change. maybe someday i will try to change my behavior too.

Sometimes I got the same feeling that I dont want to start doing any of the assignment because I do not have the motivation and concentration. But by evenly distributing time allowed, finishing assignments will be less stressful. I do that always. I told my gf that my performing madness write up will be done slowly becuase I seperated the assignment into parts that I will finish them from time to time.
